Naomi and Jacques image


Jacques and Naomi met at university in 2000 and have worked together since, initially in practice in London and for the last 10 years on private projects in both the UK and Israel.  They have a broad experience of designing and building in different climates and social context, at different scales and for both the private and public sector.

Jacques Dahan studied architecture at Aberdeen University, The Architectural Association and Kingston University where he acquired his diploma with distinction in 2003.

He worked at Lynch Architects for 3 years on a range of residential and small scale public buildings. Upon Jacque’s return to Israel in 2006, he joined Chyutin Architects, an award-winning practice where he quickly became the Senior Project Architect for a series of prestigious public projects and international competition entries. This work included the completion of university faculty buildings and government law courts.

Naomi Shaw studied Architecture at Kingston and Cambridge University before qualifying in 2007. She was an Associate at Lynch Architects working on a wide range of projects from the refurbishment of existing residential property, to the layout of large-scale, mixed-use development in central London.
In 2010 Naomi started working in sustainable construction for Eurban, specialist timber engineers and contractors, as a Project Manager and an Associate until 2016.
Naomi has taught undergraduate Architecture students for over 10 years and is currently teaching a design studio at the University of Kingston.
